Forthcoming concerts

Sunday April 27th 7.30pm

Marling School Music Centre, Downfield Road

Entrance: Free of charge

Come and listen to and watch Clare Hammond rehearsing Clara Schumann with the Capriol Chamber Orchestra

We’re inviting an audience to come along and observe our rehearsal with Clare Hammond where we’ll be rehearsing and then playing through Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto.

Clare will be performing this beautiful work with the BBC Philharmonic conducted by Nicholas Carter on Friday 9th May at Malvern Theatre. We’re giving you the opportunity to see just how a professional musician prepares for a concert. Clare performed the Rachmaninov Paganini variations with us in 2023 and we are delighted and honoured that she has asked us to collaborate with her again.

Suitable for all music students at any level, and anyone who is curious to see how a soloist works with an orchestra as they prepare for a concert performance.
