We are a chamber orchestra who enjoy playing a wide range of repertoire from Baroque to the present day. We encourage local soloists whenever possible.
Orchestra players attending the production of 'Peace in Our Time' by The Cotswold Players, featuring incidental music performed by Capriol Chamber Orchestra and arranged by our conductor Jon. The play was part of the 75th Anniversary celebrations of the Stroud Arts Festival, and also included singing by Stroud Choral Society.
Rachel Moody said "We really enjoyed the production of Peace in Our Time. It was a fantastic concept, well directed and acted by the Cotswold Players and John Salter. This was such a good opportunity to be involved in a collaboration like this and wonderful to hear our music being played through the "radio". The music really did lift the play and add another emotional edge" (September 2021)
